I telephoned a week and a half ago spoke with a salesman named Brent. We wanted a particular Cadillac car certain things were a must to have and we got a phone call last Wednesday that they had that car. We came up this Saturday and we test drove the car we knew we wanted it. We’re so happy with the service we received. We did have an issue with having to wait longer than we were expecting to wait to close the deal with the financial department. To be honest, we were very upset. They kept checking on us though, and they offered us lunch. We waited hours before they got to. Being that we were not financing. They got us right through very quickly and as we were leaving, the sales manager ask if they could fill our Escalade up with gas and apologized, they had already filled up the Cadillac we purchased with fuel . What could have been a negative experience because of the hours of waiting turned out to be one of the finest experiences that I’ve had with a company in many many years. Thank you Mr Brent, Mr Adam and of course the Sales Manager to whom I should apologize because I am unable to recall his name. You folks truly gave Old Fashioned service and my family appreciates all that you’ve done.

I bought a Yukon back in January from Thompsons GMC, and unfortunately ended up running into the well-known 6.2L engine issue—the motor went down. Obviously not something anyone wants to deal with, but I’ve got to give credit where it’s due. That kind of honesty is rare. Ken in the service department answered every question I had about the issue and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. Never felt brushed off or left in the dark. In the end, GMC covered the repair under warranty, and the dealership stood behind me through the whole situation. All in all, I had a major issue with a vehicle I bought from this dealership—and they stepped up and took care of it the right way. That’s all you can ask for.

I bought my first car from Thompson Sales at age 16 in 1999. I have bought 4 cars from them. The experience was always wonderful. Thank you Eddie Williamson! I recently traded in my vehicle at a different lot in KC but because I got a GMC and decided I should get service at Thompson because they are GMC specialists. I have never gotten my oil changed there before, and immediately realized what a terrible mistake I had made in not utilizing them before. My oil was changed and my tires were rotated and ready to go before I could get back to work and my computer updated. They didn’t try to up charge me or try to convince me that my blinker fluid was low. It’s not unusual for me to have waited an hour and a half if not even longer at other dealerships just for maintenance. Never going anywhere else again. Don’t waste your time and money going elsewhere.
