Cadillac is rolling out its first-ever electric vehicle, the LYRIQ SUV, as part of a new generation of EVs from General Motors. The electric Cadillac LYRIQ will be offered in three trim levels: Tech, Luxury, and Sport. Each trim level starts at a unique price and brings something a little different to the Ozark roads in terms of specs and features. Here’s the price list:
The Cadillac LYRIQ has an electric range of 308 miles for the rear-wheel drive model and 307 miles for the all-wheel drive model, so you really can’t go wrong with either drivetrain. The RWD model delivers 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, while the all-wheel drive model delivers 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. Both drivetrain models come with a 102-kWh battery.
The electric Cadillac LYRIQ is built on the innovative Ultium battery platform, designed by General Motors to fit their new electric vehicles. The Ultium platform allows for easy, convenient charging at home or on the go, with three levels to choose from. A Level 1 charger plugs into a standard three-prong outlet but is relatively slow, while a Level 2 charger has to be professionally installed but generates around 52 miles of range per hour for the rear-wheel drive LYRIQ. If you’re out and about and need to top off the battery, you can take advantage of a Level 3 public fast charger, which can add up to 76 miles of range per hour!
